  Jarod became passionate about photography as a teenager in 2005. He started photographing birds and insects and then moved onto landscapes. Often tramping and camping high in the mountains Jarod searched for the perfect shot. He has spent weeks photographing a single location to capture it in the best light and then put many images together to create very high resolution digital art.

  Jarod also likes to paint landscapes experimenting with different techniques using his many photographs as inspiration. 

  Jarod lives in Blenheim and focuses his art on Marlborough and New Zealand’s diverse landscape.
